Police say Sandy Springs law firm raped girl asking for lawful help

SANDY SPRINGS, Ga. – A lawyer in Sandy Springs was arrested following police say he raped a girl who turned to him for lawful assist.

Serge Jerome, 33, was arrested during a website traffic prevent on Monday.

Sandy Springs police community information officer Sgt. Salvador Ortega said the assault took place at the woman’s residence during a lawful consultation.

“They ended up meeting to go over a situation,” Sgt. Ortega explained. “I have not found anything at all in my 15 decades of police products and services.”

Jerome faces rape and aggravated sodomy expenses, according to jail information.

This situation won’t be the first time he’ll be in a courtroom in Fulton County.

In 2020, Jerome defended convicted serial immediate D’Andre Shabazz, who was afterwards offered 12 lifetime sentences.
